Glenda Hambly

Glenda Hambly has a long and distinguished history in Australian television and cinema, working as a writer, editor and developer.

She wrote and directed the feature film Fran (1985), starring Noni Hazlehurst, and the tele-movie Waiting at the Royal (2000). Fran won Best Script of the Year as well as numerous awards for the principal cast. Waiting at the Royal won Best Feature for television at the Banff International Festival.

She also produced The Legend Maker which premiered at the Melbourne International Film Festival in 2014. Glenda has a PhD in Screen Studies, lectures in screenwriting and is currently writing and co-producing a six part miniseries set in Russia, Israel and Australia.
