Rachael Thompson

Rachael Thompson is an independent Shooter and Director whose interest in documentary and cinematography started in her teens. Since completing a degree in journalism at Flinders University in Adelaide, she has worked in radio, as a researcher and field director on documentaries for ABC and BBC, and as a facilitator of filmmaking workshops for community groups.

Dark to Light: Saving Burmaʼs Eyes is Rachaelʼs first documentary as a Director. It was filmed over 2 years and involved 2 trips to Burma with the team of doctors.
