Esben Storm

Esben Storm (26 May 1950 – 28 March 2011)

Esben worked in film and television as an actor, writer, director and producer.

As an actor Esben appeared in films such as GOING DOWN and TV series like PHOENIX, ALICE TO NOWHERE, ROUND THE TWIST and ALL SAINTS.

As a writer and director Esben was responsible for the features 27A, IN SEARCH OF ANNA, WITH PREJUDICE, STANLEY, DEVIL'S HILL and DEADLY.

Esben also did a lot of work in children's television, most notably the series THE GENIE FROM DOWN UNDER, CRASH ZONE and ROUND THE TWIST which has screened in some seventy countries and is considered to be one of the most successful Australian TV series.

Esben wrote, produced and directed the romantic comedy series KICK. Esben also branched out into documentaries with THE TASTY BUST REUNION, THE BRIDGE AT MIDNIGHT TREMBLES and GOODBYE REVOLUTION.
