Working It Out was developed with Furlong Park School for the Deaf, school counsellor, Jenny Ealey, and the ACT Deafness Resource Centre. It provides an informative approach to conflict resolution, peer mediation and emotional expression. It is suitable for use with all students in upper primary and secondary schools.

The film shows students rehearsing peer mediation strategies as a model for resolving problems. Working It Out also includes a discussion on emotional expression and the benefits this can bring.

Working It Out is aimed at students, teachers, school counsellors and AUSLAN aides. It is also useful for those wishing to understand the experiences of deaf children. The film will become a useful resource for teachers and students alike.

Includes Auslan and captions.
